Gino & Cindy June 28, 2008

Had the pleasure of spending the day photographing Gino & Cindy's wedding yesterday with my studiomate Sue Petterson. These two are a very sweet and special couple! Gino has never gone down the aisle before, and his parents, Carmela and Guido, who have been married over 50 years, were so glad to see the day! Carmela made dozens of Italian goodies for the tables, and she and her husband watched proudly as their oldest son married his love Cindy in the church where all his siblings were married. I really loved being a part of their day!

As I am sifting through the images, I know I will have many more favorites to post, but one of the way cool things about this wedding was the cars... two Model A Fords from the 1920's, and a bitchin' (can I say that here?) 1957 Bel Air that was so smokin' hot it had flames. Here's the car that Cindy and Gino drove... so much fun! More later!

I am so excited about the class I am teaching at Golden Gate School for Professional Photography! It starts on Sunday, June 22 and goes through Wednesday at lunch time. I am teaching a course in album design that is appropriate for all levels of photographers/photoshop users (CS and above). Are you ready for a lot of images?

Last Saturday instead of having a wedding, I had a great photo session with Connie, Blackie, Antionette, Brendan, Sinead & Ian at Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park!! Blackie loved the geese and ducks, and all the fun people watching him as he posed so regally! He's a fourteen year old Black Labrador, and is the sweetest dog on the planet! He loves kids (Josh came along to the first part of the session, and got to meet him!) Connie loves kids too - she's Ian and Sinead's nanny, and the session was a gift from the family! I had not seen the kids in about 3 1/2 years. I think Ian was about Josh's age. They look the same and different all at once... they grow so fast!

Well, the relatives in Ireland are in for a treat! I am posting lots of pictures since they don't see the kids all that often either! Thanks for such a great time everyone, and the rest will be ready soon!!

Congratulations to Al & Laura!

Ok, it's 2AM, and I just can't seem to wind down! Today was a fabulous day, and the friends and families of Laura & Al are simply awesome. I will blog more about the beautiful details of the wedding later, but had to share this shot! We had a real Godfather thing going on today...
