So happy to report that my image, Reluctant Princess, was awarded a gold ribbon at the print competition last night at PPGBA. Here she is in all her glory!

Also, congrats to this little one's momma, Amy, who received a gold ribbon for her first ever entry into print comp (it's the image in the middle of the blog post link)! Aren't you glad I kicked you into it?? :^)

Here is the front part of a custom Valentine for a very nice guy who is giving his girl a portrait session together for their Valentine gift. The other side is of course private... especially because I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise. We can always do custom gifts for any occasion, and now is a great time for a portrait session!

I am finally getting around to posting these portraits courtesy of my good friend and colleague, Martha Bruce, who had a great inaugural party at her studio last month. It was so fun to get portraits taken with the Pres, and celebrate a new era in our history... Josh and Obama will clean up the place... man, if there is a broom within a hundred yards of this kid, he WILL find it and start sweeping. Maybe I should hire him out...
